Licensing
Every photo on this site is mine and registered. Licensing one is self-serve: open any photo, choose License this photo, pick a tier and check out. The full-resolution file follows by email with a receipt.
License tiers

What every license includes
- Non-exclusive. I can keep showing and licensing the photo to others.
- Perpetual and worldwide. No renewal and no territory limits for the use you bought it for.
- One licensee. The license belongs to the person or company named on the receipt and can't be resold or passed on.
- Credit. Credit "© McCanna Photography" next to the image or in the credits where practical.
- Light edits are fine. Cropping, resizing and color correction are allowed. Composites, AI training, and anything that misrepresents the people or places shown are not.
- Ownership stays with me. A license is permission to use the photo, not a transfer of copyright.

Prints
Every photo can also be ordered as a signed print, made in Glendale on archival paper and shipped within 7 days. A print is for display only and does not include a license to reproduce the image.

Using a photo without a license
The files on this site carry embedded copyright and contact metadata. If you've already used a photo without a license, get in touch and we'll sort out a retroactive license at the normal rate.
